What is Desktop as a Service?
Unite your workforce with Desktop as a Service (DaaS), our remotely-hosted, cloud-based solution, that connects your users, wherever they are based. Access your business desktops, emails, systems and applications remotely, without the headache of running your own IT infrastructure in-house.
Our DaaS solutions are best suited to businesses requiring less than 20 desktops. If you have a larger requirement, visit our VDI page.

How does DaaS work?
Our Desktop as a Service solution runs on secure and reliable cloud infrastructure, allowing your users to access your office files from any location and any device.
Users log in to the solution and remotely connect to a single server to access their desktop.
Our DaaS solution is suitable for running:
- Accounts systems such as QuickBooks and Sage
- Microsoft Office suite
- Proprietary applications
- Legacy client-server applications

Your choice of DaaS solution
Citrix Virtual Apps
Citrix Virtual Apps (formerly Citrix XenApp) delivers secure applications, desktops and resources to users on any device.
Applications are isolated from the underlying OS and delivered to the individual device, so they don’t need to be installed on the desktop as all the configuration and data is kept on the server. The user’s device needs the Citrix Receiver installed in order to gain access to shared hosted resources from a Windows Server.
Remote Desktop Service (RDS)
Microsoft RDS (also known as a terminal server) runs on Windows Server and allows users to share infrastructure resources so that multiple users can access the same operating system at the same time.
RDS can be used to give access to full desktops, as well as to single applications. In case of the full desktop, it is typically ‘skinned’ to make it look like a desktop version of Windows.
